Problem: visible needle holes on vamps and counters after lasting caused by excessive stretching of the uppers during the lasting operation.

Impactiva solution: we got the factory to use a backer on the vamps and counters before stitching in order to avoid the excessive stretching of the upper during the lasting operation. This prevented visible needle holes.
