Textile material fraying on loops – Case #036
October 26, 2012
“A picture is worth a thousand words”. Practical solutions to problems encountered in the manufacturing process that demonstrate how we assist our customers’ factories to produce their products Right from the Start TM.
Problem: the textile material of the back loop was fraying.
Impactiva solution: we got the factory to trim the fibers with scissors first and then fuse the edges with an iron at 100 degree temperature. This procedure avoided textile fraying and substantially cut production time thus increasing productivity, since the factory no longer has to trim each loop one by one.
