Sole bonding problem – Case #510

Problem: sole edges not perfectly bonded.

Impactiva solution: we got the factory to make some adjustments in their sole pressing process. 1) We had them adjust the sole pressing time (side pressing) up to 8 seconds. 2) We got them to attach an EVA sheet on the toe part of the sole molding area in order to achieve more uniformity in the side sole part. 3) We had them install a balloon pressing machine to increase sole bonding.
