“A picture is worth a thousand words”. Practical solutions to problems encountered in the manufacturing process that demonstrate how we assist our customers’ factories to produce Right from the Start TM.

Problem: the toe cap perforation is not centered and the eyelets-facing attachment is crooked, this causes the lasting to be crooked as well.

Impactiva solution: we got the factory to:
1) Provide a center marking on the toe cap to avoid making the perforations off-center.
2) Extend eyelets stay point marking on the vamp to avoid crooked eyelet facing.
3) Provide a ‘V’ shape marking on the tongue to serve as a guide for the eyelet facing attachment in order to control the crooked facing / crooked lasting issue.
