Color coming off the leather – Case #046

Problem: Bad adhesion. The color was coming off. The lot of leather failed the Tape and Wet Rub Tests. Impactiva rejected the lot and requested the tannery to rework it. The pictures below show how the color was coming off.

Impactiva solution: we got the tannery to rework the leather in order to fix the adhesion problem. Following are the pictures of the same tests performed after the adhesion was fixed. Impactiva approved the leather for shipment.
