An aesthetic detail – Case #512

Problem: the reinforcement tape from the lining side is visible between the double stitching, especially in curved areas, looking very unaesthetic.

Impactiva solution: we got the factory to revise the construction of this shoe. We advised them to do an underlay stitching instead of using reinforcement tape. This will:

– help to save time during the lining pieces attachment operation

– reduce the cost of material (no need for reinforcement tape, just attaching the components with glue and a single stitch)

Single stitching is enough for good strength in this case, and the aesthetic look of the shoe is enhanced.
