Wrinkles on the vamp – Case #152

“A picture is worth a thousand words”. Practical solutions to problems encountered in the manufacturing process that demonstrate how we assist our customers’ factories to produce Right from the Start TM.
Problem: wrinkles on the vamp caused by an uneven underlay allowance. The component was not attached before stitching and they were not using a stitch guide.
Impactiva solution: we got the factory to attach the component with a double side tape before stitching. We also got them use a stitch guide at 1mm distance from the edge. And we displayed a show board signed by the artisans in order to follow this standard from now on.
